Be Brave for Isla is proud to Partner with Valhalla Cemetery and Funeral Home in Birmingham, AL to provide financial assistance for families to cover burial fees, funeral services, and grave marker creation. Every family who receives a financial grant from Be Brave for Isla for these services also receives a Sunshine Box.

Each box contains self-care items, books and journals for both mom and dad, mementos for the family to keep their baby with them forever, and all of our counseling and support group resources.

There is no worse feeling than taking home a box instead of a baby. We hope these items, hand-picked by fellow loss parents, will give these families a small bit of comfort.
