Framework:

Our peer support group is designed to walk with bereaved parents through the evolving experience of grief. Over eight months, we gather in community to share, reflect, and honor our children. Each month centers on a thoughtful theme to support connection, healing, and meaning-making — at your own pace, and in your own way.

May: Sharing Our Stories

June: The Foundations of Grief

July: Navigating Relationships and Isolation

August: Guilt, Regret, and “What Ifs”

September: Honoring Our Babies’ Legacy

October: Caring for Ourselves in Grief

November: Finding Hope and Meaning (Without “Moving On”)

December: Carrying Them With Us

Guidelines:

  • Everything shared in this group is private and we respect the confidentiality of all participants. Meetings will not be recorded or shared in any form.

  • This group is peer-led and not facilitated by a licensed therapist or mental health professional. It is a space for shared experiences and emotional support.

  • We honor each participant’s unique experience of loss. We do not judge, compare, or invalidate the grief of others. Every story matters.

  • We do not offer advice unless it is specifically requested. We recognize that what helps one person may not help another, and that listening is often more powerful than fixing.

  • By joining this group, you commit to helping uphold a supportive, safe, and compassionate space for all grieving parents.

To protect the privacy of those participating, this support group is limited to those who have registered with Be Brave for Isla before group meetings.

All support group meetings are confidential and never recorded.
